NEW WAIVER POLICY FOR 2026

Starting in 2026, our waiver policy for paddlers has changed. We will no longer accept paper waivers at registration. Our new insurance carriers policy stipulates that ALL paddlers, both local and outside Hawaii, will be required to sign their own waiver online. HCRA waivers are no longer valid for our event.

To do so, each registrant must enter in all paddlers for each of their crews. The following explains the steps required:

HOW TO ENTER IN PADDLERS INTO YOUR CREWS

  1. Login to the Registration Center
  2. To enter in a paddler into your list - click on "Your Paddlers List" in the main menu
  3. Click on Add New Paddler and complete the form to save. **MAKE SURE THEIR NAME AND EMAIL ARE CORRECT**
  4. Once all your paddlers are entered, go to your Registration Center Homepage in the main menu
  5. Click on the row of your registration(s) to view the Registration Detail page
  6. On that detail page will be a list of all your crews entered in for that registration
  7. For each crew - Find the "Add Paddlers From Your Paddlers List" section & select the paddlers in that crew from the pulldown
  8. Click: "Enter this Paddler in the Crew Above"

HOW TO SEND YOUR PADDLERS A WAIVER REQUEST

  1. Once your Crew Paddlers are all entered, you will see their Waiver Signed? status
  2. If they have NOT signed, click on the button stating "Email Waiver Request"
  3. Each paddler is emailed their own UNIQUE LINK to sign the waiver online
  4. You will see the last date it was sent - NOTE: you can only send each paddler one request a day
  5. Ensure the paddlers name is correct along with their email address.

NOTE - we do not share any emails with anybody; they are used strictly for this event only.

Paddlers, who are in multiple races, only need to sign one waiver.

Mahalo for your understanding and patience as we work to implement and improve our new waiver process.
