NEED 1 PADDLER AND 1 STEERER CAN BE WOMEN OR MENKia ora, we're a crew of 4 women from New Zealand looking for two more paddlers for Saturday's iron race - one of whom needs to be an experienced steerer. We are mixed ages 1 x open paddler, 1 x master and 2 x golden master. We have all paddled this race previously and raced around the world including Fiji, Rarotonga, Aotearoa and California. We are open to women or men but would need two men to be able to compete as a mixed crew. A little backstory... my partner and I met at this race in 2022. This year we're heading back to Kona to paddle it again, just a few days before we get married on a canoe off of Kamakahonu beach.
