| Aloha - My name is Peer Blichfeldt and am interested to see if I would be a good fit for your crew. I am currently training with and competing for the Outrigger Masters Crew on Oahu. I have done the Queen Liliuokalani Race the last 4 years. Sat no. 2 last year for the M50 traditional Iron race for Hui Nalu, in 2024 stroked Hui Nalu to victory in M60 iron unlimited, in 2023 sat number 2 in Hui Nalu’s 60s crew (Older Guys) iron unlimited 2nd place finish and in 2022 competed in the 9-man traditional 55+ event also for Hui Nalu. In 2024, I was one of the strokers for Hui Nalu’s 55+ crew that placed 1st in the Molokai Hoe. Although I am now 65, I feel my paddling is better than ever having worked hard on my technique in the off-season as well as improving my OC-1 paddling. I also have experience paddling with mixed crews having won several pre-season distance races this and last year. Anyway I would love to find out more about your crew. Aloha-Peer |
