Aloha.

Paddler and participant safety has always been and will continue to be a top priority for Kai Opua Canoe Club.

Following current CDC, Hawaii state and county guidelines, Kai Opua recommends that all paddlers and participants in the 2022 Queen Liliuokalani Canoe Festival be vaccinated for the Covid 19 virus and it’s variants. 

Currently, out of state travelers coming to Hawaii, meeting Hawaii Safe Travels requirements, must show proof of vaccination or results of a negative test, prior to arrival. This will continue until further notice.

While involved in all 2022 Queen Liliuokalani activities, participants will follow current Hawaii county Covid protocols. These include social distancing, and sanitation. These may be updated, and if so, you will be informed through our website.
